Here is a block that has been bake ovened, shot peened with stainless steel shot, and crack checked.  This is done before any machine work takes place.

Above is a block that is being torque-plate honed to size.  The torque plate simulates the head being on the block during this process,  which in turn gives the engine a round and straight cylinder wall for better ring seal.

This is a block being zero decked using BHJ tru deck plate for accurate square decking to equalize cylinder deck heights.

Above is an ohv head having the guides resized and valve job done in our sunnen vgs-20 seat and guide machine.

A crank being internally balanced, this process is done on our digital balancer to within +/- two grams.
